Hosted services
LTC Communicator is offered as a hosted service operated by LTC. The customer requires no additional software on site (apart from a web front-end to exchange messages with the LTC system).
There is an annual subscription fee for the use of the service, plus a small fixed fee per item processed and a small translation fee based on the length of the item. Where output of 'publishable' quality is required, LTC also offers a post-editing service.
In-House Installation
Larger customers, handling over 2500 transactions per language pair per year, may prefer to run the system in-house. Details of license conditions and projected costs, for the machine translation software and for LTC Communicator itself, can be provided by LTC on request. LTC can also provide linguistic support, such as custom dictionary development and post-editing, on request.
