LTC Communicator is a very versatile tool that can be used in many different ways. LTC is happy to discuss how LTC Communicator can fit into your processes. Please contact us for further information.
Below are some examples of how LTC Communicator is currently being used. Read our case studies and check out the websites for some of the projects in which LTC is participating with LTC Communicator software, to get an idea of how LTC Communicator can benefit you.
Case Study 1: Helpdesk
Integrated with a helpdesk system, LTC Communicator allows a software vendor to run a centralized support center, without training and equipping local support desks in different countries; the user and the support engineer do not need to share a common language. More...
Case Study 2: Aladdin Project
The EU-funded Aladdin project targets the tourist industry. It aims to develop a multilingual mobile destination system that combines a mobile incoming tour operator workspace with a mobile content and service management system for destinations.
As this system will inevitably be used by people using many different languages, LTC Communicator is a core element of Aladdin. Local destination SMEs such as tourist offices, restaurants, hotels and museums typically publish information on their services in their own language on-line. LTC Communicator provides translations of any foreign language content into languages understood by the tourists who need the information. Also, tour guides can send short messages such as meeting times and places via SMS to their group in their own language, and the message will arrive in the tourist's language.

Case Study 3: EUCAM
EUCAM = "Multilingual Communication in European Car Manufacturing". The project merges technologies that allow companies to install terminals in their plants, at which workers will be able to use learner-centered strategies to enhance their knowledge relating to their role in production, at their own pace and in different languages.
Integrated with an eLearning infrastructure such as EUCAM, LTC Communicator allows users to have the content of the system translated on the fly, making information instantly accessible in multiple languages.

Case Study 4: Ambient Learning
The AMBIENT LEARNING service is based on stable and mature technology and offers ambient, multi-modal, personalized and context-sensitive access to learning at work, at home, at a training institution or on the move.
As in the EUCAM project, LTC Communicator allows information to be accessible by learners of all kinds instantly in many languages.
