LTC presents new software for the language industry in Berlin |
|
The Language Technology Centre (LTC) has showcased LTC Worx, a web-based information system for the language industry, for the first time under the heading "workflows for any company". “This new software is very flexible and can be adapted perfectly to our customers’ company-specific work processes,” said LTC’s owner, Dr. Adriane Rinsche, highlighting the key advantage of the new corporate software.
LTC, based in London and Washington DC, premiered LTC Worx at the Localization World conference in Berlin, which took place from 19-21 June 2007.
LTC Worx is the result of ten years of research work and extensive experience in the optimisation of multilingual processes at companies throughout the world. The web-based information system takes care of the organisational aspects of all multi-lingual work processes and controls the entire workflow from the initial request for quotations to invoicing. In addition it can be flexibly adapted to well-established workflows in any company. Using LTC products can boost productivity by up to 300 percent; that means that an investment in LTC Worx can be realised in just a few months. The software was designed according to the philosophy “automate what you can, control what you need”.
Besides the actual software, LTC offers numerous options for learning how to use LTC Worx: the LTC University on LTC’s website, web seminars and on-site training.
