LTC gears up to the London 2012 Olympics
London, 10 May 2012 – LTC is excited to welcome the London Olympics this summer, and will be working with The London Development Agency (LDA) and Kingston council to do its bit to help ensure a successful Games.
The LDA and local councils have asked employers to facilitate employees working from home during the games, as a significant additional burden is foreseen on both road traffic and public transport.
As the cycling road race will directly pass LTC’s offices in Kingston upon Thames, Managing Director Dr. Adriane Rinsche wants to ease the effect on employees and spectators alike.
LTC launches new terminology management service

LTC Inc. awarded U.S. General Services Administration contract
Washington, DC, USA and London, UK – June 29th 2011. Today, LTC was proud to announce the contract award from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) for translation services.
Under the Multiple Award Schedule Contract GS-10F-0268W, Federal customers can now purchase translation services from LTC. Thanks to the GSA MAS framework, government clients know they are getting the best prices, and benefit from LTC’s use of the latest technologies to ensure the highest quality.

LTC joins W3C's MultilingualWeb project
London, UK and Washington DC, 6th of April 2010 - Today, LTC announced that it has joined the MultilingualWeb, an EU funded project headed by a prominent W3C member. The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an international community where Member organisations, a full-time staff, and the public work together to develop Web standards. Led by Web inventor Tim Berners-Lee and CEO Jeffrey Jaffe, W3C's mission is to lead the Web to its full potential.
The MultilingualWeb project aims to to build on and move forward current internationalisation of the Web by raising awareness of existing best practices and standards related to managing content on the multilingual Web, and developing new standards and defining best practices applicable in the future.
“As experts in machine translation, pioneers in the use of many linguistic tools such as translation memory technology, and innovative software developers ourselves, we are in a great position to collaborate with other partners in the MultlingualWeb project,” said Dr. Adriane Rinsche, managing director of LTC.
In September, LTC participated in the first of 4 workshops in Madrid, where Dr. Rinsche chaired the ‘Developers’ session that included experts from the W3C, Google, Microsoft, Opera and Mozilla.
